The staff - Moebius, I think it was called - seems to have some sway over the wights. I want one person armed with the fire rod and one armed with this one; someone who can't use fire magic, materia or otherwise. Zelda, would it be possible for you to enchant fire arrows, like Link? Cover from a useful long-range weapon is priceless.

I'm going to take part in a dangerous experiment later tonight. If I'm right, we might have something that can hurt the Others. I'll let you know when it's complete.

If I die, don't look for my corpse. I'm taking a fire Materia, which I'll use on myself if anything goes wrong. Take any issues to Mello or Armand.
